We have a store!

I've been working hard filling orders and setting up an online store where you can buy owls directly! Please stop by and take a look: owlsfororphans.storenvy.com.

We are preparing to travel to pick up our daughter from Eastern Europe in June. We are still $3k short of being fully funded so the profits from owls in May and June will go to our adoption fund. After that point I hope to be able to announce a new partnership with an NGO in Bulgaria that we will help to support in addition to featuring more fundraising families.

If you aren't following us on Facebook, be sure to find us there as well as on Instagram. The 97th owl was finished yesterday. Let me just say: you want to be following along when the 100th owl is made. ;).

Thanks for your continued support!

Pardon Our Dust

If you haven't received your owls yet, don't fear!  I am still super busy filling orders and will have everything out within a few weeks.

In addition to that, we are working really hard on the technical side of Owls for Orphans.  If you didn't notice, there's a nice new banner at the top of the page with a fancy logo.  That's right!  Owls for Orphans now has it's very own professional logo.  Many thanks to Alex of Holy City Design for his hard work.

It's awesome!

In addition to a new logo we are working on opening an online shop.  Be on the lookout around the end of the month for more details regarding that.  With the opening of the shop there will be new owl items!

And, in case you forgot, we are getting very close to a very special GIVEAWAY!  I finished the 90th owl last night.  Once the 100th is done an announcement will be made about how YOU can try to win the giveaway.  Make you you follow along on Facebook and Instagram to participate.

March Fundraising - the Lanz Family

Please help me welcome the Lanz family to Owls for Orphans!
Randi and Ethan are parents to eight children and are excited to be adding two more to their family this spring!  They are working hard to raise the money to bring home two sweet girls from Asia.  To read more about the Lanz’s please visit their blog:  http://lanzadoptionadventure.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html  They have an amazing story that you don’t want to miss!
If you would like to help support Randi and Ethan as they adopt their daughters you can do so by visiting their blog and donating through the link on their sidebar, or you can order a custom owl (or two!) from Owls for Orphans.  50% of each sale will be sent to the Lanz’s for their adoption.  Owls make great gifts for children and adults alike!  Feel free to look around the site to get an idea of colors and sizes.  Please also take note of the following before you place your order:
1. Owls are made on a custom order basis. Each owl is handmade in a smoke free home.  Because of the nature of crochet, no two owls will be exactly alike.  You can take pride in knowing your owl is one of a kind!  Each owl comes with a special card explaining the purpose of Owls for Orphans and the significance behind the owl.
2. To order, email Amy at  owlsfororphans@gmail.com with the size and colors you would like.  Please visit the gallery page for color inspiration.  To read about owl sizes, click on the “Order an Owl” tab at the top of the page.
3. After verifying your order and discussing any changes, shipping, etc, I will send you a PayPal invoice.  After receiving payment I will begin working on your order.
4.  When you order please specify that you want your purchase applied to the Lanz Family.  If no family is specified, the money will be split equally between the Lanz’s and the Jensen’s.

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR MARCH:
- My husband and I will be out of town until mid-March while we visit our daughter we are in the process of adopting.  I may or may not be able to answer emails while out of town.  Orders will be responded to and filled in the order they were received.
- Orders will ship 6-8 weeks after your email is sent.  If you need your order rushed, send me a note and I will do my best to work with you.

Thank you so much for your support of the Lanz family!  I look forward to chatting with you about your order should you choose to support Randi and Ethan in this way.

February fundraising

We had a great fundraising success in January for the Rylands family! I don't have official numbers yet, but will post them soon. Y'all have kept me busy!

Because of the time it takes to fill orders as well as the hope that we will be traveling to visit our daughter this month, I have prayerfully decided to take February off from fundraising. This will give me time to catch up on orders and prepare for our trip.

I am very excited to tell you that we already have two fundraising families ready to go in March! I can't wait to share them with you!

If you ordered an owl in January and haven't received it yet please know I am working hard on them and will have everything mailed out by February 15th. Thank you for your patience!
